Out of 779 reviews, IMDb rates Another Life 4.2 out of 10 stars. As directed by Bill Condon — no stranger to movie musicals, having written and directed “Dreamgirls” and written “Chicago” — builds a beautiful, immersive world, with lush forests, and a town that look seriously lived in. As if they’d put the most incompetent people on the bloody planet in to the space ship that is meant to save Earth.”, Another viewer wrote: “Good Sci-Fi is about good stories where science is the backdrop. So that’s a good point, actually. Strong women are at the center of the action and show courage and teamwork in solving tough, dangerous problems; another character has atypical gender presentation, which isn't remarked on. You could even call it Fullmetal Garbage. I quickly found this series to be aliberal, gender fluid mess, clearly pushing a liberal agenda.
